Our blog review of Tiong Bahru Bakery, Raffles City
One of our favourite guilty pleasures is a croissant from Tiong Bahru Bakery. While the main outlet for the bakery is in the trendy neighbourhood of Tiong Bahru, we often find it is packed on weekends (we only ever go for the take away option here), and prefer to visit the quieter Raffles City Shopping Centre basement outlet, where we rarely have to wait for a table. This is the perfect spot for any sweet tooth.
The food at Tiong Bahru Bakery Singapore:
The Raffles City menu features a host of lunch and brunch options, including Rainbow Bowls, packed with superfoods and veggies (our favourite savoury choice), granola, sandwich rolls, toasties (our favourite is the sweet and savoury mix) and eggs. Every visit we can't go past adding a croissant onto our order too. We personally love the almond croissants, which have a soft creamy inside, and are covered with sweet icing sugar and almond flakes. More recently we tried the chocolate almond croissant, which is now a new favourite.
