1. Shop local at the Beachside Community Markets on Saturday morning:
Head to the community markets, located right on Kingscliff Main Beach next to the Bowls club. The markets operate every 2nd and 4th Saturday morning of the month from 8am to 1pm. Shop through a range of fresh local produce, plants, snacks, coffee and clothing.
2. Visit the Sunflower fields of Farm & Co:
For even more fresh local produce, take a drive out to the family owned Farm & Co, where during the spring and summertime you can wander through their tall and bright sunflower fields and open natural spaces.
3. Eat greek feast for lunch at Taverna:
Be sure to reserve a seat in advance at the quaint white and green seaside restaurant, Taverna, on the main street. Don't miss trying the slow-cooked lamb.
4. Sip cocktails at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel:
Next, head for cocktails along the esplanade at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel. For something tropical try the Cabarita Colada or a frosty glass of Frose.
5. Take a swim at Cudgen Creek:
While Kingscliff has stunning beaches, we always love a swim in Cudgen Creek for its protected calm and clear waters. Surrounding the creek is loads of small parks and picnic areas to pull up and relax on.
6. Walk the Cudgen Creek Boardwalk to Kingscliff Main Beach and esplanade:
While at the Creek be sure to take the boardwalk right down to the main beach of Kingscliff to take in all the scenery.
7. Have dinner at the Kingscliff Surf Club:
Located right on the beach is Kingscliff Surf Club. Book an outdoor table and enjoy a local meal. Don't miss the Chicken Parma.

One of the Gold Coast's most popular little hole in the wall cafes originally located in Currumbin now has a branch open at the Southern and of Kingscliff. Grab a morning coffee or Acai bowl from Salt Mill to start the day.
